About Us Our names are Wayne & Brenda Nielsen. We became involved with the Japanese Spitz in 1999 when Gypsy, the first of our Spitz came to us as a pet. It did not take too long for us to be bitten by both the showing & JS bug, & we began showing/breeding in partnership with Tom & Kayelene Blackaby (Brenda's parents) of Jokita Japanese Spitz. This partnership continued until Tom & Kayes 'retirement' due to ill health. Tom & Kaye still enjoy rearing litters for us when the opportunity arises.
From the outset we had terrific success with these dogs, so much so that their very first litter produced 1 Australian Grand Champion (B.I.S. & R.I.S. Aust. GRAND Champion Jokita Nagoya Sashimi) 'Tazma' & 1 Australian Champion (Aust. Champion Jokita Miagi Kobe`) 'Miagi'.
Since that time we have continued to achieve exceptional results in the showring, consistently winning Best in Group/Show & Class in Group/Show awards, as well as many BOB awards at Launceston & Hobart Royal Shows. At present we are exhibiting one of the finest Japanese Spitz in the country, 'Dimmy' aka B.I.S./Multi R.I.S Australian GRAND Champion Karenda Showlad. At less than 4 years of age Dimmy has just obtained his Grand Champion award (the highest award an Australian Showdog can attain) as well as recently taking out his first Best Exhibit in Show award - we are so proud of this home-bred boy on all of his achievements, more of which can be seen on his profile.
We are also exhibiting our newest Keeshond, Australian & American Champion Windrift's Greenback.com (Carson) who came to us from Joanne Reed's world-famous Windrift Keeshonds in California, USA late in 2007.
